BIO: Dr Arora is a Skin Cancer GP. He completed his FRACGP followed by further postgraduate education and training in skin cancer medicine and surgery. He is an Accredited Skin Cancer Doctor with the Skin Cancer College Australasia and has over 15 years of clinical experience. His practice is focused on the prevention, early detection and management of skin cancer within the general practice setting.
His interest in skin cancer began early in his General Practice career, and he has since worked in dedicated skin cancer clinics while completing advanced training to develop his diagnostic and procedural skills. He provides full-body skin checks, photographic and dermoscopic monitoring of moles, and biopsy of suspicious or changing lesions.
Dr Arora performs a wide range of skin cancer procedures and is experienced in techniques such as flap repairs, skin grafts and staged margin-control surgery. He also provides field treatment for sun-damaged skin and solar keratoses using topical therapies or Photodynamic Therapy (PDT). When required, he coordinates referral to dermatology, plastic surgery and oncology services to ensure comprehensive patient care.
